Introduction

The pharmaceutical sciences have played huge role in combatting the global health challenge of the COVID pandemic through the development of vaccines and new therapeutics. Despite these advances, challenges remain, particularly with regards to equity of access to these technologies.

This session will discuss how the pharmaceutical sciences are preparing for future global health challenges, including addressing the challenges of equity of access to technologies.
