Paris

Chair(s)

Dr Sarira El-Den (Australia)

Introduction

Mental health includes individuals’ emotional, psychological, and social well-being. Undoubtedly, the current pandemic has impacted the mental health and wellbeing of individuals, families and communities around the world. This has placed a huge strain on health systems and their ability to deliver mental health care. Fundamental to the psychosocial crises that the pandemic has heightened, is how pharmacists working in different settings responded, planned, and learnt along the way in the provision of mental health services to the public. Mental health and wellbeing of the public in the fluid context of COVID-19 remains a challenge, and in this session, speakers will explore ways to pave the way ahead.
