Introduction

With the COVID-19 pandemic, effective use of technologies has become essential. Different aspects of technology have been introduced or further expanded for patients’ care. At the same time, artificial intelligence (AI) enabled pharmacy and other health professions to accelerate and advance clinical care including pharmacy practice in community and hospital settings.

Thus introduction, implementation and enhancement of any technology-enabled services impacts patients’ outcomes. This session will outline good practices and engage participants in identifying the benefits of technology and AI use in pharmaceutical services.
